When starting a business, do you reinvest earnings early on to grow your business?

King Solomon wrote, "Finish your outdoor work and get your fields ready; after that, build your house" (Proverbs 24:27 NIV).

Solomon knew that to produce food, the fields needed to be prepared. Today we must build our business before we are able to pull out a large salary. A business needs to provide for the needs of the owner, but when basic needs are met, consider reinvesting funds back into your business. Invest for the long term, and as you grow, you will be able to afford a larger salary.

In the Word

King Solomon wrote, "Finish your outdoor work and get your fields ready; after that, build your house" (Proverbs 24:27 NIV).
