The king promoted the prophet Daniel "and issued a proclamation concerning him that he now had authority as the third ruler in the kingdom" (Daniel 5:29 NASB).

When placing someone in management, explain to the new manager and the staff the extent of authority and responsibility that the manager is expected to wield. The manager's authority will be clearly established, and the staff will respond to the new leadership. You will then see that your management team is effectively established.

In the Word

The king promoted the prophet Daniel "and issued a proclamation concerning him that he now had authority as the third ruler in the kingdom" (Daniel 5:29 NASB).
