When hiring staff, do you carefully outline everything that is expected on the job?

Jesus was telling the people what was expected to be a follower, and "as a result...many of his disciples withdrew" (John 6:66 NASB).

Some followers of Jesus did not want to pay the price of following the Lord; likewise, many employees may become disillusioned after starting a new job. Be clear and concise when discussing the expected dress code, work behaviors, hours on the job, and other work-related issues. Those who accept your job offer will become longer-term employees.

In the Word

Jesus was telling the people what was expected to be a follower, and "as a result...many of his disciples withdrew" (John 6:66 NASB).
