When furnishing advice, are you careful to have solid information?

God spoke to Job and said, "Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?" (Job 38:2 NASB).

When asked for information by customers, ensure you understand the question and have the correct information before you answer. Few experiences will frustrate a customer more and kill repeat business than receiving bad or incomplete information. When you aren't certain of the answer, just say, "I need a minute to check that out," or "I'll get back to you with the right information." Most customers will appreciate your diligence, reliability, and follow-through.

In the Word

God spoke to Job and said, "Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?" (Job 38:2 NASB).
