Are you able to compare your business performance with other similar companies?

Gideon said, "What have I done now in comparison to you?" (Judges 8:2 NASB).

Every business has competition and peer companies in the same business. A key to determining how well a company is doing is to compare yourself to other companies. Research similar businesses. Business publications, trade journals, or library research will yield strategic information on your industry group. Compare your productivity, profit margins, growth rate, cash flow, and other important categories to your business. The best companies are leaders, and the first step to leadership is understanding where you stand.

In the Word

Gideon said, "What have I done now in comparison to you?" (Judges 8:2 NASB).
