When you issue a firm directive, do you ensure your instructions are followed?

A king issued an order, "Then as soon as the copy was read...they went in haste to Jerusalem to the Jews and stopped them by force of arms" (Ezra 4:23 NASB).

When our management issues instructions or establishes a new policy, we have a responsibility to promptly embrace and follow through with their instructions. Key directives need to be followed with a sense of urgency, meaning we act now, not next week, and follow through decisively. Act quickly, with resolution, and your management support will strengthen your company and your leadership.

In the Word
