Do you have a product that is like Old Man River, which just keeps on going, producing for your business?

King Solomon wrote, "For lack of wood the fire goes out" (Proverbs 26:20 NASB).

Products, no matter how wonderful, have a way of fading eventually. Henry Ford made millions of Model T cars at a great profit before competitors ate away at the market. Consider placing income in a product development fund. Then research new products before you lose market share. Keep abreast of new trends and move before your product becomes obsolete. Continue to improve the product without waiting. Putting wood on your product fire will keep business hot long after the original product fades in to the past.

In the Word

King Solomon wrote, "For lack of wood the fire goes out" (Proverbs 26:20 NASB).
