Does losing patience ever cause you to lose sight of your goal?

Moses wrote, "The people became impatient because of the journey andÉspoke against God" (Numbers 21:4-5 NASB).

Many large projects may take a long time, and our team may become discouraged. When leading a major long-term project, establish benchmarks and then celebrate each milestone with your team. As you celebrate, remind everyone of three things. First, the progress made so far. Second, the goal to be reached and how much closer that goal is today. Finally, recap the future advantages to the business and to each team member when the outcome is realized.

In the Word

Moses wrote, "The people became impatient because of the journey andÉspoke against God" (Numbers 21:4-5 NASB).
