When you issue instructions and directives, do you ask for prompt implementation?

The Lord spoke to Ezekiel and said, "None of my words will be delayed any longer" (Ezekiel 12:28 NASB).

When you issue instructions, establish a timetable to follow-through; otherwise, delays may blunt the effectiveness of your plan. Outline your plan, issue your instructions, in writing if necessary, and be clear when follow-through is expected. The best idea can be ruined by a delay in implementation. State your instructions clearly, affirm what you expect, and set a clear deadline for implementation. Then watch your ideas take off!

In the Word
