When discussing key business issues, what style of communication do you use?

Scripture teaches, "Sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness" (Proverbs 16:21 NASB).

Most of us are involved in discussions over business issues. Be firm and use clear, calm speech to make your points. Raising your voice or using strong language will establish battle lines and hinder getting your viewpoint accepted. Slow down; use a calm but passionate tone of voice. Focus on the facts of your position, not how you "feel" about your position. Your sweetness of speech will help your viewpoint prevail with others.

In the Word

Scripture teaches, "Sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness" (Proverbs 16:21 NASB).
