Do you manage with a quick tongue to keep staff in line?

Proverbs reads, "He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty" (Proverbs 16:32 NASB).

Some managers and supervisors believe using a quick temper will keep people in line. Displaying a quick temper will cause staff to become intimidated, and they will not come forth with new, fresh ideas that would help grow your business. Staff will not want to volunteer any information, ideas, or differing perspectives if they risk having their heads cut off. Would you? Keep your anger in check, and get the most out of your staff.

In the Word
