A wise king wrote, "A wise man will hear and increase in learning" (Proverbs 1:5 NASB).

None of us has the memory of that elephant that never forgets. When we hear important instructions, whether from a customer or the boss, make a note. Write it down. The act of writing the instructions down and placing them on your action list will help you learn, remember what to do, and follow through. Then when you hear instructions, you will increase in learning, and you will be a great on-the-job learner.
