Do you give new staff a heads up about potential problems?

King Solomon wrote instructions that were designed to "give prudence to the naive, to the youth knowledge and discretion" (Proverbs 1:4 NASB).

New workers won't know all the ropes, what customers want, nor all the mistakes every new worker makes. Identify three to five commonly-made mistakes, and spend time going over each one with the new colleague. When you discern possible trouble spots, share your perspective and experience. When you see a mistake, share how that same error can be avoided in the future. The investment in your new workers will pay great future dividends.
