Do you do business with people who are not straight with you?

King David wrote, "I do not sit with deceitful men" (Psalm 26:4 NASB).

Not every businessperson is honest. We often get a heads-up that a customer, employee, or vendor is not forthright. When we continue to do business with those that demonstrate dishonesty, we set ourselves up for a fall. Some will rationalize, "Everybody does it, so what's the big deal?" An honest tax accountant will not accept clients known to cheat on taxes. Not everybody is dishonest. Insist on complete integrity with your business partners for long-term success.

In the Word
