Do you insist that older staff retire?

WRITTEN BY STEVE MARR

Scripture instructs, "Do not cast me off in the time of old age" (Psalm 71:9 NASB).

Medical advances have maintained good health for many well past the traditional retirement age of sixty-five, so keep an open mind. Older workers may exhibit a great work ethic, giving you and other workers the benefit of great experience. Look for opportunities to keep this experience in your business, and actively recruit older workers to fill key roles. The experience you utilize today will bring great dividends in the future, and your business will grow and prosper.

In the Word

Scripture instructs, "Do not cast me off in the time of old age" (Psalm 71:9 NASB).
