Do you insist staff accept responsibility for doing their jobs?

Scripture related, "Arise! For this matter is your responsibility, but we will be with you; be courageous and act" (Ezra 10:4 NASB).

We must be clear what we expect from staff, then insist they follow through. The responsibility is theirs. Never do work that should and could be done by staff. Bailing them out will only increase dependence upon you. Be supportive, offer solid training, and be there to answer questions. But for long-term success, never forget the primary responsibility for work performance belongs to each staff member.
