Do you back your managers and supervisors as they direct staff?

Scripture relates, "Whatever Ezra...may require of you, it shall be done diligently" (Ezra 7:21 NASB).

Managers must be empowered to manage staff. Give full authority to managers, and tell employees that you fully support your management team. If you disagree with your manager's action, speak privately and resolve the issue. Never publicly undercut a manager in front of staff. If you receive complaints about a manager, stop and call in the manager immediately to discuss the issue with the employee. Key issues will be directly resolved and your managers will be empowered when you support your management team.

In the Word

Scripture relates, "Whatever Ezra...may require of you, it shall be done diligently" (Ezra 7:21 NASB).
