How do you approach a possible business partner?

WRITTEN BY STEVE MARR

Scripture states, "Do two men walk together unless they have agreed to do so?" (Amos 3:3 NIV).

Too often, business partnerships are based on emotion, temporary convenience, or apparent necessity. However, these partnerships are destined to struggle. Effective partnerships require agreement on key issues in advance. Determine in advance what work each partner will do, the time committed to the business, profit distribution, business philosophy, and a business plan. Once you have the basis of agreement, then you'll have an effective business partnership.

In the Word

Scripture states, "Do two men walk together unless they have agreed to do so?" (Amos 3:3 NIV).
