Are you quick to give praise when your staff has done a good job?

Jesus related that a master said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:21 NLT).

When employees do a good job serving customers, we need to be quick with a thank-you. Positive reinforcement is one of the best, and least expensive, motivation tools with staff. Follow the example given by Jesus, look for examples of excellent work, and then offer genuine praise. We will get more of the behavior that we praise when we take the time to say "thank you" and build up the effectiveness of our staff.
