When requiring urgent action from staff, are you clear in communicating?

Jesus was calling and said, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately..." (Luke 19:5 NIV).

Some of our instructions require immediate action while others do not. Make every statement urgent and you lose effectiveness in communication. On the other hand, if you never stress the urgent, folks will not respond quickly. Develop a balanced approach; discern when to stress the urgent. Identify situations that require immediate action and then issue clear directions. Then watch as your staff responds effectively to the urgent.
