Do you drift away from key assignments given by your boss?

Scripture teaches, "We must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it" (Hebrews 2:1 NASB).
We can easily lose focus on key work. When the boss gives you an important assignment, write it down, list the elements you must accomplish, and schedule the work. Keep the written assignment, and review your progress each day. If you start drifting away from the task, get back immediately. The key to effective follow-through is consistently monitoring your plan. The monitoring step breaks down most often. For great business success, don't drift off target.
