Do you consistently reinforce your company's mission statement?

WRITTEN BY STEVE MARR

Scripture instructs, "We must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it" (Hebrews 2:1 NASB).

Each organization must write and communicate a mission statement. Unfortunately, many great mission statements stay in a drawer or are ignored if posted. Do not allow staff to drift from your mission statement. Each week, look for ways to publicly reinforce the mission with staff. When communicating policy or key decisions, describe how your action enhances the mission. Your business will stay on target and not drift.

In the Word

Scripture instructs, "We must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it" (Hebrews 2:1 NASB).
